2. Providing this website
This website uses STRATO Hosting Pro, provided by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Technically necessary connection data, such as IP address, access time, requested file, browser information and HTTP status, is processed to deliver and protect the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
According to the STRATO data processing agreement, website visitor logs are retained for no more than seven days. Other hosting logs are deleted after no more than twelve months. Hosted content is deleted within two months after the contract ends.
3. Contact by email or telephone
When you contact us, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry. Booking enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website itself does not submit form data; email links open your email application.
Booking enquiries are handled by Thorsten Blohm, Keith Tynes’ personal assistant, exclusively on Keith’s behalf. Both contact email accounts are hosted by STRATO GmbH. Enquiry data is deleted when it is no longer required to handle the enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require further storage.
The STRATO agreement provides for retention of email service logs for no more than six months after creation and deletion of email service data no more than thirty days after the contract ends. These provider periods are separate from the retention of individual enquiries described above.
4. YouTube videos
Videos are only loaded when you select ‘Load YouTube video’. Before that, the video elements make no connections to YouTube; preview images, fonts and styling are loaded locally. Loading a video establishes a connection to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), which may receive your IP address and technical information in particular. Processing in third countries, especially the United States, may take place.
Loading is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where information on your device is accessed, Section 25(1) TDDDG. The embed uses youtube-nocookie.com. This does not prevent all data processing by YouTube. We do not store your choice permanently.
Selecting ‘Remove video’ ends the active embed. Data already transmitted cannot be retrieved by doing so. Loading the video again requires another action. Alternatively, you can visit YouTube using the clearly marked external link. Google privacy information. The website operator must check the applicable transfer safeguards before launch.
5. Cookies, fonts and analytics
The website’s own code does not set cookies or use tracking pixels, analytics services or persistent browser storage. Fonts come from the operating system; photos and scripts are loaded from our own webspace. This is separate from processing by the hosting provider and voluntarily loaded YouTube videos.
Local music and Spotify links
MP3 recordings are played from our own webspace. The players only load the audio files on request; playback never starts automatically. Spotify is accessible solely through external links. No Spotify player or Spotify tracking is embedded. When you open a link, the respective provider’s privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future and object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live or work or where the suspected infringement occurred. For this Berlin-based provider, one possible contact is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: www.datenschutz-berlin.de.
